Teaching Hybrid: A Blended Experience

Wednesday, April 16, 2014 - 10:00am to 11:00am

Do you teach hybrid courses or are you interested in learning more about hybrid?

A hybrid course is a course that is delivered at least 50% online, with the remainder of course meetings delivered face to face.

All faculty are invited to join us for “Teaching Hybrid: A Blended Experience” on Wednesday, April 16, 2014, 10-11 am at the Picard Center, Room A.

This event will include a national presenter, Dr. Will Miller from University of Illinois - Springfield. Dr. Miller Is the Department Chair for Public Administration at UIS. He has used blended learning to "flip the classroom" and has experience in both the research and practice of mode-neutral learning. After a brief presentation from Dr. Miller, current UL Lafayette hybrid faculty will share experiences, lessons learned, and tips on best practices for a successful hybrid teaching and learning experience.
