Moodle User Group (MUG) Meeting
Friday, April 17, 2015 - 11:00am to 12:00pm
All UL Lafayette faculty members are invited to the Moodle User Group (MUG) meeting to come learn more about the updated version of Moodle, which will debut campus-wide this summer.
Registration is not required but highly suggested. You can use this form to register.
Topics include:
- Using "choice" activity to organize group projects and gather data from your class (Jonathan Kulp, Music)
- EDS Curriculum Builder (Emily Deal, Library)
- Using HTML Blocks to create quick reference blocks and shortcuts (Jimmy Kimball, Mathematics)
- Setting Up a Quiz, Quiz Question Types, and Adding Questions (Sherry Krayesky-Self, Biology)
- The "Book" – uses, editing, and differences when creating in new version (Christy Sue Langley, Mathematics)
- Quiz Questions - add quiz questions to a Moodle quiz that include labeled figures (Sherry Krayesky-Self, Biology)
- Using the Questionnaire Module to Survey Students (Christy Sue Langley, Mathematics)
- Using the Checklist to help students to track and monitor their progress on items due (Denise Rogers, English)
- Quick Tips and Q & A with UCSS Staff (Patrick Landry & Team)
