State Authorization

UL Lafayette must be in compliance in every state where a student is located. In order to meet this requirement, UL Lafayette is a member of the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (NC-SARA) and actively monitors the regulatory environment to ensure compliance. Authorization regulations help ensure students are investing in legitimate programs that lead to the appropriate and anticipated licenses.

Authorization by State

Online programs are approved and regulated by the University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors and the Louisiana Board of Regents.

Professional Licensure or Certification

UL Lafayette online programs may not meet eligibility requirements for a license or certificate in another state. If you are planning to use your degree to pursue a license or certificate outside of Louisiana, it is strongly recommended that you contact the appropriate entity in that state to seek information and guidance regarding their requirements.
