What is Learning Spaces?
Learning Spaces is a searchable, self-paced, and on-demand training portal for Moodle 3.9.
- Recommended Learning Pathways featuring modules with videos, documentation, and activities.
- Upcoming and recorded webinars.
- Moodle sandboxes to practice using Moodle 3.9.
- Support options, such as FAQs, Ask an Expert, and Virtual Office Hours.
How to access Learning Spaces:
Step 1: Enroll.
The Office of Distance Learning will enroll faculty using your First/Last Name and ULID email.
You will receive an email from Learning Spaces with instructions to get started. Click the link to set a new password.
If you did not receive an email from Learning Spaces, contact firstname.lastname@example.org to enroll.
Step 2: Log into Learning Spaces.
Access Learning Spaces from your Moodle dashboard by selecting "Faculty Support" then "Moodle Training via Learning Spaces."
From there, you'll be able to log in and get started.
You can also navigate to Learning Spaces directly.
The Office of Distance Learning recommends starting with the Basic Moodle 3.9 Learning Pathway located in Recommended Pathways (top menu). This training pathway includes less than 2 hours of Moodle 3.9 training modules to help you get started. For more comprehensive Moodle 3.9 training modules, select Course Developer Moodle 3.9.
