Learning Objectives describe what students will be able to do following the successful completion of a course. (QM Standard 2)

Instructors should include measurable course-level objectives as well as module-level objectives that are consistent with the overall course outcomes. 

It should be clear to students how learning activities, instructional materials and assessments are connected to their objectives. (Standards 2.1, 2.2, 3.1, 4.1, 5.1, 6.1)
