University of Louisiana at Lafayette faculty certified to teach online and hybrid courses must register for and complete the refresher course by Nov. 22, 2023, in order to maintain their certification and teach online or hybrid courses in the Spring 2024 semester. 

The free, self-paced session takes about 3-6 hours to complete and covers what's new in the Seventh Edition.

Note: There will be a fee to complete the refresher after Jan. 4. 

To register for the Rubric Update: 

  • Log in to MyQM
  • On the "MyQM" menu, click Workshop - Register and then Register for QM Rubric Update: HE Seventh Edition
  • Click the Register For Session button to confirm registration. 
  • Click the two checkboxes and then click the Continue button. 
  • Enter Participant Email Address (this is the email address associated with your QM account) and click Search Accounts. 
  • Click Finalize Registration

To access the Rubric Update:

  • Log in to MyQM.
  • Click the Classroom icon.
  • Locate and click the June 5, 2023, Rubric Update course.
  • Complete the six Modules. 

Once you complete the update, submit your certificate to the Office of Distance Learning Instructional Support Team at distancelearning@louisiana.edu.
