EduTools are technology tested and supported by the Office of Distance Learning Instructional Support Team as tools to enhance online teaching and learning at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Interactive EduTool Chooser

Interactive Content

H5P is an interactive content creation tool that integrates with Moodle. 

Choose H5P to produce interactive content, including: 

  • quizzes
  • presentations
  • videos
  • graphics

H5P can also connect to gradebook so these activities can automatically be graded.

Online Exam Proctoring

Online exam proctoring allows for students in different geographical locations to be monitored while taking exams through the use of webcams and screen monitoring technologies. We have partnered with two industry-leading proctoring services, ProctorU and Examity, from which faculty can choose to use for proctoring exams online.

Faculty do have the option of allowing students to be proctored in-person at a remote location, in which case the faculty member would need to provide the student with the Proctor Approval Application and have the student complete and obtain all approvals.

Both ProctorU and Examity offer the following features:

  • Identity Authentication
  • Proctoring of exam sessions by a live proctor
  • Faculty review of recorded test session
  • Convenient 24/7 scheduling for students
  • Reports of any testing irregularities
