University of Louisiana at Lafayette faculty and staff with non-academic courses in Moodle 3.1 (mdl2.louisiana.edu) can now submit a request for their courses to be migrated to the upgraded Moodle 3.9 system. Requests must be submitted by the "course owner" before Dec. 7, 2021, to be migrated.

Migration is planned for the week of Dec. 13, 2021, and migrated courses are expected to be available at moodle.louisiana.edu after Jan. 5, 2022. Moodle 3.1 will be sunset by Summer 2022 at which time access to the system at mdl2.louisiana.edu will be discontinued.

Migration includes course content only, which means:

  • Users will need to be re-enrolled.
  • No user history will be retained in the course.

To submit your request, you must be the course owner and listed as a teacher in the course. You will need your course short name, long name, and URL. You’ll find information here on how to identify each within your course. Once you’ve identified these elements, complete and submit the Non-Academic Course Migration Request form.
