Do you want to measure the impact of your content and activities? Whether you are teaching a large lecture class, a hybrid course, or in an online environment, adaptive learning may hold promise for engaging your students and better understanding how they are learning.
The Office of Faculty Affairs in collaboration with the Office of Distance Learning invites you to "What’s all the excitement about personalized and active learning?" on Monday, January 9, starting at 1:00 PM in Oliver Hall, Room 117.
The event will feature a presentation, Adapting to Adaptivity, from nationally recognized adaptive learning expert, Dale Johnson from Arizona State University. Dale will present on the work being done at his institution as well as comment on the state of adaptive learning pedagogy and technology in the United States. Following Dale’s presentation, a panel of UL Lafayette faculty will share their work on personalized learning.
